Today in class we reviewed three assignments: R.R. Rise of Democratic Ideas, Highlighting and annotating "Ancient Roots of Democracy," and "Judging a Grecian Legal Dispute." Students reviewed their work, according to our rubrics, and were given tips to improve their scores. Correct answers to "Judging a Grecian Legal Dispute" were provided for students and they were given time in class to improve their scores on all assignments. Many students took advantage of this opportunity and significantly raised their grades.

2. Take out your notes from last class, review (SLIDE 7) the different types of governments with your sub (oligarchy,
aristocracy, monarchy, and democracy (direct and representative)
3. With your assigned partner, complete handout: Judging a Grecian Legal Dispute. Each partner needs to turn in their
own written work, but you should have the same answers. You may NOT work alone. Remember, when answering
how each type of government would likely rule, explain why. I expect to have at least three sentences for each
answer. This assignment is due before you leave class.
4. If/When you finish, take notes on Ancient Greece Slideshow Notes, slides 10 and 11.
